Class Title: Weaving on a Table Loom
Approximate length of class: 1 Hour

What will they learn: Students will have a chance to weave a variety of Medieval structures, such as plain weave, twill, double weave, tapestry, and basket weave.

Class Title: Blackwork collar and cuffs
Approximate length of class: 60 minutes
Maximum no of students: 8
What will they learn: This class will provide all of the materials needed to create an embroidered collar and cuffs set for a shirt or chemise. The basic techniques of single- and double-sided blackwork will be introduced, and gentles will be able to choose from a variety of designs based upon Society, Kingdom and Principality awards or will be able to design their own blackwork patterns.
What materials will you need:
I’ll provide all of the materials although it would help if people bring their own scissors. There will be a £3 charge for materials.
Anything else the Populous should know?
Students will not finish their items in this class but will be able to take them away with them to complete them.

Class Title: Introduction to Viking Garb
Approximate length of class: 1 hrs

What will they learn: We'll be looking at different styles of Viking and early Scandinavian garb. What materials did they use? What are the essential accessories? How to make Viking garb?
What materials will you need: We'll bring books and other material. If people want us to have a look at sources they found, we shall be happy to assist evaluating and discussing them too. This also is in no way limited to the class itself.

What will they learn: To make their own leather belt
What materials will you need: I will provide all the needed materials and tools. People wishing to attend this class MUST contact me before hand so that I know what size of belt and style of buckle they require. Cost will vary on style and size.

What materials will you need: I will provide all the needed materials and tools. There will be a charge for this class of £9 per head (this covers cost of leather, tong and dye).

What will they learn: Garb on a shoe string or First time event goers guide to in-expensive dressing.

Class Title: Basic armour for Heavy Combat
Approximate length of class: 1 hrs
Maximum no of students: No Limit
What will they learn: A (relatively) cheap and easy way to get your first kit together. How to make armour that is both, fully protective and easy to put on. What is the easiest way to fulfil Drachenwald's 10-feet-rule? What are the armour standards? What is essential, what is nice to have?
What materials will you need: We will bring our armour for demonstration purpose.
Anything else the Populous or I should know? This class is primarily aimed at beginners / folks who want to make their first kit, either for themselves or for someone else.

Class Title: How to make your own chainmail keyring (rings will be provided)
Approximate length of class: 1 hour 30 mins
Maximum no of students: 6 people
What will they learn: How to construct and put rings together to form a chainmail keyring
What materials will you need: Links enough for 6 people to make a keyring, 2 sets of pliers for each person, they should bring their own if they have some. I have made up enough coils for 6 people, they just need cut.
Anything else the Populous should know? Bring 2 sets of pliers if they have them and a keyring fob to put their finished product on.
